Emergencies
During normal hours urgent cases will always be seen the same day, and emergencies will be asked to come to the surgery straight away. 
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO TELEPHONE THE PRACTICE FIRST - this way we can ensure appropriate staff are aware of the emergency and can give you advice.

Outside normal hours , when the surgeries are closed, our  Out-of-Hours provider is  Willows Out-of-Hours (Emergency) Service - this is at the same site as the Willows Referral Service. Their out of hours number is 0121 712 7071.   . It is located near J4 of the M42 in Shirley, approximately 30  minutes drive from our clinic during the evening. The address and postcode are below, as is a map.  YOU MUST TELEPHONE WILLOWS PRIOR TO DEPARTURE. The number is also on our out-of-hours answering machine - just call our normal number.  Willows Out-of-Hours is a   dedicated out-of-hours clinic and as such fees will be higher to reflect the nature of the service. Please ask them for guidance when you telephone.
